After half a century working as a director of photography and occasionally directing, then eight years teaching at AFI, I retired to become an independent visual artist working for fun instead of money.  This site contains much of my 21st century work.  It's quite different than supervising the photography of well-funded productions that may or may not reflect my personal taste.  These pieces allowed me to create, shoot and edit anything that tickled my fancy.  That included shooting some of the organ and piano pieces performed by my wife, Theodora Primes.  These can be found on her site: theoprimes.com.  Our sites are designed to be viewed and experienced on real monitors and full range sound systems rather than phones.  If you wish to comment or say "hello", my email is bobprimes@mac.com.  Theo's is theoprimes@roadrunner.com.  Thanks!
